A brief history of the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army
The 1st United League of Arakan (ULA) conference, attended by delegates from various countries, was successfully held from January 10 to 16, 2016, seven consecutive days in a liberated area.
The United League of Arakan (ULA) was coherently formed by the 21 central committee members who represent the ULA at regional and international in the following sectors: Chairman, General Secretary, Secretary (1), Secretary (2), Secretary (3), Special Advisory Group, Foreign Affair, Alliance Affair, Judiciary Committee, Organizing and People Relation Affair, Literature, Historical and Cultural affair, Women Affair, Job Opportunities Seeking Committee, Regional Development and Labour Affair and other sectors.
In compliance with the Rakhita doctrine, the conference laid down national political aim, goal, objectives and principles, constitution of the ULA and regulations for all members of the ULA; therefore, all of the delegates agreed and decided that the policies and tasks of the ULA are going to be profoundly and comprehensively implemented by regional and international representatives.
On behalf of the whole Arakanese people, the United League of Arakan and Arakan Army will struggle for in line with the political and military means the Arakanese National Liberation, National Equality, the right of self-determination, the right to dispose of the Arakanese natural resources and the right to take the Arakanese own destiny in their hands, the rights of the Arakanese IDPs and the right to regain our national losses.
